Hello, I am looking for a no service 1247/237 Omega mesh bracelet for my Seamaster 1000. is there a source for vintage Omega parts in this community or is there a known vintage Omega (parts) market on the web?

Best Regards
Oliver

Hi Oliver

if you plan to buy original parts like the Bezel or the extra long mesh expect to pay high prices for thoses parts, because they will be parts from donors only .

That bracelet is still current, I believe. Call Omega to buy one.

Thank you for your replies!

I should add, that I am looking for a bracelet with 37 stamp in the clasp, as I assume 59 means „service“.

Best regards

Thank you for your advise (I didn’t know Omega still offers the bracelets with seat belt buckets. But I am really looking for an old clasp, to complete my watch (bezel, dial, hands and bracelet are all original vintage parts - only the clasp is service).

My clasp is the 59 (clasp on white background) and I am looking for a bracelet with 37 in it (dark background). I would buy a whole bracelet or a clasp.

Best regards
Oliver

I would be very surprised if this is true.

Omega updates clasps like anything else. A different/changed clasp would then have a different/changed number. I would not let that stop me from buying or owning a bracelet with that clasp.

Hello skunkprince,

this site is dedicated to the Seamaster 1000 (http://omegaseamaster1000.com/), all the vintage clasps shown have the 37 print. When google for the 1247237 bracelet, all the NOS bracelets have the 59 printed inside plus I found an Omega discussion, with somebody adding that 59 stands for „service“ and 37 stands for vintage.

That it is a different manufacturer or has had a change, that I will agree to. That it denotes "service only", I disagree. I can believe that Omega may no longer have any 37 clasps, but if there is a reason... say they spring open on their own and you can lose your watch... that would be a bad reason to have one, would you not agree?

Clearly I think this goes past passion and into insanity, but of course you are free to do what you like with your own money.
