Looking for early 70’s bracelet link

I would like 1or possibly 2 links (preferably with spring bars, if not so be it) for the pictured bracelet. It is on a dual reference Seamaster 166.028/168.022, there is no date stamp and the end links are stamped “48”. I would like to wear the watch on the same bracelet my dad did. I am great full for any help or suggestions. Sorry for the poor drawing and photos, I am neither a draftsman or photographer.

Just as an aside how is it possible that one side has no removable links.

From your pics and your ( very good ) drawing I would say your bracelet is a 1175. One of the blades of the clasp should have a date stamp from 70ies or 80ies ( 3-72 e.g ) Are the end links stamped? If you want to wear it on a Speedy the should have either 47 or 640, if you wear it on a f300 it could be 647 e.g. I will have a look in my box if I got some links for an 1175.

Thank you for your time. Actually the bracelet is on a Seamaster dual reference case 166.028/168.022. It has no date stamp and the end links are stamped “48”. I apologize for not including this in the original post, it has been edited to reflect this.

Yup, it is an "unmarked" 1175 type bracelet. Date code should be stamped on the clasp, on the backside by the fold, not on the main part like on a 1039.

Really hard to find extra links on the secondary market has been my experience, I have resorted to buying full length, removing links and reselling a shorter bracelet and the loss is the cost of the links.

The one side most likely was altered, there are scratch marks on the side of the second link and my guess is there are more on the link itself where it was reattached without the proper link. That will make adding links to that side very difficult.

And yes, should be springbar type attached. Good luck on the repair!

Thanks to all who have taken the time to offer to look and their suggestions, at least now I have a possible bracelet number. 😀😀
@140dave there is no date code only the number “10” or “01” where your date code is.

If someone did modify the other side of the bracelet they were very, very good, no scratches on the opposite side of the link and no evidence of tampering on the back side either.

The 1175 is still available new from omega. If it is indeed and unmarked version of that, getting a link is fully possible

No joy at the local OB. They didn’t even seem to be interested in speaking to me, much less looking for any answers. Said they have to send it out to a tech. Looks like they only want new watch sales. Or maybe I have it wrong should I be looking for an AD rather than a Boutique.

I think the best solution would be to find an Omega certified watchmaker. They can order Omega parts and possibly do the repair on the one side of the bracelet which has no exchangeable links.

Is it? I know the 1125 is available but I didn’t know the 1175 had a modern version also? Even if so, the modern 1125 links don’t work with vintage 1125 bracelet and would expect the same on any modern/vintage combo.

I’ll be honest. I mixed up my 1125 and 1175. You are right. My mistake.
