Ok... so I know that the rubber strap from the 43.5mm black ceramic 300D (210.92.44.20.01.001) fits on the first generation SM300 heritage from two different people (picture below). HOWEVER, I have been told that Omega has two rubber straps @ 21mm width that look more or less the same; the other is for a 43.5mm seamaster chronograph and apparently that strap does *not* fit. Neither person I've talked to knows the part number specifically (which would obviously be my easiest answer).

I'm looking at Omega part number 032CVZ012082. Can anyone tell me which reference this is the correct strap for? I understand if I were to call an OB they would probably just order me the correct p/n for the reference above but I'm still in research phase and am just looking for a part number.

Thank you all in advance, enjoy your weekends!

Yo @Scooterino36 just noted that you shared some pictures of this exact setup over on watchuseek. Do you happen to have the p/n? Love your pictures.

032CVZ012082 is for the Seamaster 300M chronograph, and is the strap that is currently available on the Omega website. I did get it to fit, but it was a chore.

Thank you for the response.

When you say a chore... did it require modification or just a ton of elbow grease? Easily swappable or a pain every time?

So I had to use curved spring bars, and a lot of elbow grease. I'll likely want to keep it on the rubber for as long as I can as it's not as easily swappable as it is getting the 20mm rubber strap on my Peter Blake Seamaster for example.

If I didn't pull the trigger without realizing there was a difference in these two strap models, I would probably opt to get the model that goes with the Seamaster Ceramic (non-chrono). I just happened to see this one available on the Omega website and pulled the trigger.

I really appreciate you sharing that information with me, as it is definitely helping me to avoid a similar problem! I did call the Omega Boutique near Seattle, sounds like the strap for the ceramic SMP is 260 and the silver buckle is 50. Not bad for an Omega strap.
