Hello everybody! Does anyone have a Catalogue des fournitures des montres Longines from the 1920s-1930s? And would share a copy of the pages on the 19.73N calibers? Or know where to get it/them?? Thank you! vlad
Bigbug, hello! Just now I realised I'd lost track of this thread and also forgot to thank you. I am frightfully sorry. One thousand thanks – the more belated, the more On these pages I cannot see the balance assembly. Why is it absent from the list? And why is the nr 8 Longines catalog so hard to come by? And Hello, Seiji, how are you doing? And how's your double face doing? :.)
Yesss! After all these years Thank you SO much! So I can, can't I? be certain that there is only ONE balance for all 19.73N variants? Is there a mention of the Double Face anywhere?
I'm happy that it was useful to you My french is not that good, but I found this. And here is a list of interchangeble balance staffs.
Thank you! I wonder how you searched… I've been looking for the last couple of years… Yes, so as feared the 19.73N is unique, but apparently the balance is the same along the whole range of variants… I'll give that to the watchmaker and I hope it helps or at least it interests him…
I am crosslinking this https://forums.watchuseek.com/f11/longines-prima-pocket-watch-19-71n-4433258-post42988650.html It is a thread someone started about the 19.71 and it because of me moved on to the 19.73N balance. All this info might help put together some sort of “Complete (dummy's guide to the 19.73.N” Some seriously more knowledgeable people have made assumptions, but a complete “Catalogue of Longines watch materials no 8” or the Fourniturenblatt etc. would possibly clear what balances went into the several variants of the 19.73 N. Best, and best of thanks,
