Looking for Aqua Terra Bracelet/Strap Options?

Hi,

So I'm totally new to this forum, and I'm not sure I'm doing this right, but I'm looking for guidance/ advice on strap options for my new Aqua Terra. I'd like to have some options for straps and I am open to suggestions. I really like the Omega rubber straps, but other than an Omega A.D. I'm not sure where to purchase them. I've considered an Omega NATO, but I think that they could add bulk to an already "bulky" watch. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I’ve posted this one before, but this is a brown leather from Finwatchstraps. I also wear it on a simple “vintage” black leather from them and a grey elephant color leather with white stitching from B&S. It’s a very versatile watch, so I think it looks great on any 20mm.

edit: and welcome to the forum!!!

Pretty sure these guys do straps specifically for the AT range

https://www.zealande.com/

I cant speak for quality as my preference is bracelet so I’m not into straps.

Yep, they do a spectacular strap for the 20mm lug width Aqua Terras. They don't make a 19mm one for the 38mm case AT though.

I HAVE THE BLUE ONE ON NATO, BUT I CUT OUT (THE USELESS (imo) LOWER PART OF THE STRAP.

How does it look? Did you have to do anything to neaten it up?

hi!, You have to burn (to seal it) the cutted zone. Write in Google ¨cutting nato straps´, there are many examples!. I do it because is a way of lowering the watch. Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the tips, it's very helpful. After looking around I was thinking about getting a strap from Genteel, specifically the Omega deployant style with the Himalayan leather ( https://www.genteel-handmade.com/collections/omega-style-deployant-watch-straps ). To me that leather is beautiful and I think would go well with the black face. Obviously I'd need to get a Omega deployant clasp...this I found at watchstrap experts. ( https://www.watchbandexpert.com/collections/omega-watchbands ) Does anyone see why I couldnt do this? Or has anyone had any experience with either of these companies? I was also thinking that this strap could serve double duty on another Omega watch in the future. Thanks again for the help!

I would suggest calling an Omega Boutique to see how much a deployant clasp costs. I bought one earlier this year and it was $250.

I have tried a few options (bought my green AT on factory bracelet):
- Watch Gecko "Butterfly Beads of Rice Premium Watch Strap": https://www.watchgecko.com/beads-of-rice-butterfly-stainless-steel-watch-strap
together with curved end pieces ordered separately: https://www.watchgecko.com/curved-end-pieces-for-beads-of-rice-for-20-and-22mm
and even though the endlinks are generic they fit the case of AT so well that I had an impression the were made specifically for this watch 😉, have a look at this short video of mine:

- I have also tried mesh bracelet from Watch Gecko (actually I bought it for my SMP300, tried just to see how it looks):

- but I am mostly wearing it on tailor made crocodile strap:

Tried also OEM brown alligator, but it did not work for me.

That rice bracelet looks like an OEM fit on the Aqua terra!!! Does it taper and I wonder if the end links will fit as snug on the previous Gen 41.5mm AT cases?

Zealande's 20mm is advertised for the 41.5mm previous generation Aqua Terra. Are the straps compatible with the current generation 41mm AT as well?

Thanks for showing these options. I really like the Geckota BoR bracelet with the curved end links.

If you’re looking for a good nato option, I absolutely love Nick Mankey bands. They are a little stretchy so are extremely comfortable. The closure hook design is unique, recommend watching the install video on YouTube to ensure you’re putting it on correctly. One of the best parts is the band doesn’t go under the back of the watch like traditional natos, keeping your watch flush with your wrist as normal.

Anyone have the new Omega Milenese on their AT?

I once tried after market mesh, and regardless of brand / quality of this bracelet in my opinion visually AT & mesh do not match, but that's just my humble opinion:

Following up on this interest, I am SO happy with this Beads of Rice bracelet. I have no desire to go back to the factory bracelet.
