Hi guys,

New poster here. I really like the look of the 1970s Seamaster ref. 166.088 with navy bakelite bezel insert and the blue seconds hand. There are a few for sale right now, but not sure what you guys think and would love some advice .

Option 1: Nice case and strap but heavy wear on bezel insert and movement, and NOS hands

Option 2: Cleaner bezel, good case, cleaner movement, but no bracelet and crystal will need work

Option 3: Very clean, bracelet looks awesome. movement looks good but hands look unusual (seller confirmed they're original but I've never seen another with these hands) and it's the most expensive one I've seen.

I would love any input from this community as I'm interested in finding one of these watches and am open to sending it to STS for a touch up, under the right circumstances.

Thanks, guys.

Make TGV a good offer. He'd probably flip his at the right price

Neither of the eBay ones do it for me, the first one is nice but the bezel could be better, the second is too all round shiny, the chrono24 has been restored so has redone lume and not original hands. I would sit back and keep an eye out for a more honest example, they come up!

The first eBay one belongs in the "worst re-dial" thread.
Wow, really? New to this (just bought my first Moonwatch a couple months back) and would love to learn what to look for.

That's really nice.
