Looking to buy a Planet ocean 42mm 232.30.42.21.01.001 as a stablemate to my Speedmaster. There were a couple for sale before Christmas but they seem to have all disappeared. Anyone got one or aware of any for sale? (UK based)

I would recommend trying the chrono24 website and the website watch recon for your search.

The Skyfall one yeh? Didn't realise what these are being offered at these days, Just had a look and they're knocking on 4 grand s/h UK now. When did that happen? And most of the ones at those prices are older than mine. Mind you, the Mk1 42mm has shot up in price on the s/.h market too. And we keep hearing that only Rolex hold their value and get their money back. Doesn't look that way now. What's your budget?

Pretty easy to source. Not sure why it’s hard to find one. I prefer it’s older brother with a 2500 but everyone has there own thoughts.

Apologies for thread drift but thinking of selling my 300m Diver last night looked at eBay, £3250ish sold, Chrono 24 ‘asking’ £4K and I bought for £3k 3 years ago.

Hi, budget around £3500 - £3750.

You should pick up a decent one for that price, from what I can see. I have been thinking of maybe selling but keep picking it up because the Mk1 2500 is probably getting more fragile as it ages and this is a tank, and still keeps excellent time. Let us know how you get on. As the mortgage has gone up 9 times since January of this year, it's getting to be more of a possibility.

Good to see on occasion. My first PO is 2008 and was £1600, It's more than double that now for most of them.
The 300 which I bought in 96 was about 1000 and I don't think that has gone up as much. But still more than I paid for it back then.

problem is they are mostly in Germany so add 20% import tax to price.
