A couple of days ago I aqcuired an inexpensive Russian (Soviet) 1970's Poljot mechanical wrist watch cal. 2614.2h. Although it's classified as a dress watch, I find it rather casual and intend to wear it on a daily basis with some of my everyday suits and blazers (let's save those Longines and Omegas for the tuxedos and the special occasions) Anyway, the strap of the timepiece looks and feels rather worn out and I do not like the color of it - pale green or something. I would like to replace the factory strap with a classy, yet simple, black genuine leather band (the lugs width is 18 mm). I will appreciate some ideas and opinions on appropriate for this watch strap brands and models, I don't mind spending some extra cash here, I really like and enjoy the Poljot.
