looking for a help with this watch
I would need help identifying whether this is a genuine Breguet pocket watch i found it after my grandfather. I think it is from the beginning of the 1800s

    Many thanks Björn

Breguet watches have been frequently copied. This, unfortunately, is just another garden variety, low jewel count, very average watch of the era, with a cylinder escapement. It is a fake.

I'm afraid that @Canuck, who is frequently correct in his assessments, is once again correct with this one.

Many of these were not originally constructed as fakes, but in their later years, were taken by people and engraved with fanciful interpretations of watches that were considered as "high end".

Much like the current practice of re-dialing a bog standard "Nelson" (or equivalent) as an Omega.
