    Hi all,

I am looking to purchase my first automatic watch and really like the look of the Geneve 166.041. After spending some time reading about spotting fakes, redials, purchasing online etc.. I was hoping to get some specific thoughts / advice.

I would like to spend approx. $400USD give or take. I originally came across this one which I really like (but has now sold):

    https://www.chrono24.com/omega/auto...e-cal-565-ref-166041-24-jewels--id6186532.htm

Did this have a redial? Since it didn't have the 'T' I assume it is?

That being said, it has now sold so can I please get some feedback on the following 2 examples I have found:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Omega-Ge...125acd2e1:g:61kAAOSwc-tY16QP&autorefresh=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Elegant-...1f7cbd855:g:1GoAAOSw7GRZDaNr&autorefresh=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

I assume these are both genuine watches and also not redials? If so, are there are any things that stand out as being good or bad about these two watches?

If anyone has any recommendations on any others which are currently listed, I am definitely all ears :)

Thanks in advance, looking forward to learning a lot more from this forum!

For the first example, the dial has no T because there is no lume on it. The case is very polished though.

    Thanks kreyke.

Excuse my ignorance, how does the lume impact the T?

Do you have a view on the 2nd two options?

    Thanks again!

T stands for tritium (radioactive substance that glows in the dark). If there's none on the hands or dial, there is no need for Ts on the dial.
