Looking for a BOR for small wrists (found)

I recently purchased this lovely 2577. It’s a fantastic piece but by the way it was received in my household it’s one of the watches that will spend more time on Mrs Jeppe’s wrist than on mine.

Problem is that the 1036 bracelet that I put it on is too long for her even when removing all the removable links and using the clasp adjustment. The wide clasp “fold” also becomes a bit clunky when it’s sized so small.

So any know of any alternatives to the 1036 that is more appropriate for smaller wrists?

Are you specifically looking for something OEM?
No. Doesn’t have to be. As long as it suits the case.

I think your only option is to remove links - either that or find one where it has been done.

18mm bracelet width gives you a number of aftermarket options which in most cases will fit your end links too, so you could start your seach there? Vintage Seiko bracelets are as rattly as Omegas so can be used.

Thanks Troels.

I’ve looked at the aftermarket options, but of the ones I found none of them were compatible with separate end links. They all had either their own fixed end links or just the straight end. I’ll look a bit deeper.

If anyone has a specific recommendation I would be happy to hear.

Also just out of curiosity. How does one remove links from a bracelet beyond just the intended removable links?

Can't really help with your question but just wanted to say I think you have an absolutely lovely watch. If you ever want to part with it, I would call dibs on that! 😀

Good luck!

For the most part you have to pry open the connecting links.

Thanks Rudi. Will let you know if both the wife and I get tired of it 😀

That sound a little too irreversible for me.

The watch is now in wifey’s heavy rotation. Found a very short bracelet and with a couple of extra links I was able to size it to my wife’s wrist. Thanks for reaching out @seekingseaquest.

She loves it and it has taken the place of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual she was contemplating.

Here is a rare wrist shot of her.
