Really want a PO.
Looking at threads the 2500 seems to be very popular and perfectly proportioned?

Any and all input would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

People LOVE the 2500. I had the 42 mm version for a few years. I currently have the 39.5 mm, and would take it any day over the 2500. I won't get into the movement details. There's a lot of info on those differences, and it's not a reason I prefer the 39.5 mm. I have 6.75 inch wrists. The 39.5 fits me much better, and I like the overall look a lot more. It's definitely more blingy than the 2500, but I prefer that over the matte look of the 2500. Try both on if you can. That would be the best option.

I’ve been wearing mine this past week. It’s the 2500 C, and has given me reliable service, despite some negative comments regarding the calibre variant.

I had a 2500 chrono for a decade, loved it and wore it all the time. Then I bought a 8900 GMT (Oreo) and stopped wearing the 2500 so I sold it. The more curved case and crystal makes it feel more compact than the current PO.

I have a PO 22015.00 (42mm) and love mine except it’s heavy. My submariner is is noticeably lighter on my wrist. Obviously much different watches. I wish I could find a lighter bracelet on go on my PO.

My oldest one with my newest one.
Not getting rid of either. If I had to choose. I'd keep the PO.
Do it. No regrets.

I have the 2500 and wore it for many years until I got the new Speedmaster in January. In fact I wore it today (and yesterday) for the first time since.

I love it, but after wearing the Speedmaster, the PO is noticeably chunkier and heavier. I have become used to the lighter tapered bracelet on the Speedmaster now, so much so that everything else is heavy and bulky.

Still love the PO (2500) though. One of the best dive watch dials in my opinion... I like the open 6 and 9, and the fact that they are printed, mixed with the applied indices.

The 2500 is the best looking and the most true to a heritage diver than any of the other PO models made thereafter. Its perfect! ai have the 45 XL on Sharkcage mesh bracelet.

Looks great on the OEM blue alligator. Did you also get a 2500?

I posted this in another thread but I’d update here as well, found a bracelet that works better for me. It’s an Uncle Seiko with an Omega clasp from eBay.

It's funny, after wearing the PO around for so many years and not having a speedmaster for a long time, the new speedmaster seems wafer thin and kind of weird.
My 300 is so much thinner and sits low on the wrist as well but again from years of wearing chunky divers, (PO, Seiko 6309's, Pam's,etc). I've just gotten used to it...

It does look great on the strap and ultra comfy. Had the new 300m diver on rubber and I would say this is even better to wear, I forget it's there!
No, didn't get a 2500 also as I'm a one watch man, got rid of the 300 diver the day after I bought the PO. I wear it everyday for everything.
