Looking at my first DJ...

    Hi, folks:

    I am looking to pick up my first DJ, this 1601, specifically. Now, I know the seller is highly regarded, so I have no qualms over this. I do wonder, though, if you wonder as I do: Are the hands on this watch replacements or originals? What do you think?

    Thanks. But what about that second hand? It doesn't reach the outer indices...

    Sorry, yes, the sweep hand is wrong. I didn't look at that.

    If I see wrong hands I think the watch ended up being “serviced”/“repaired” by someone with no access to parts. Dealers, often, do “quick repairs” to have a watch ready for sale.

    Watch looks good though. Decent case, nice linen dial...if the price is right....
