I tried asking this elsewhere but was unable to get any advice so I have come to the big boys.

There is a good deal on a 3592.50 at my local shop here in Japan. The shop is reputable and it is serviced prior to being displayed. The timegrapher readings come in the high single digits to mid teens (I believe something like -7 -10 - 14 +12), is this acceptable for a movement of this age that has just been serviced?

Any advice in general is welcome as this is my first omega purchase.

If those are positional readings, -14 to +12 is a delta of 26. Omega allows as much as 40 seconds measured over 3 positions at full wind, so yes this falls within Omega specs.

However, it's not a great result in my view. I just finished servicing one and the delta over 6 positions at full wind was just 8 seconds, so they can run a whole heck of a lot better than what you are getting on that one.

I would also take any claim of service with a large grain of salt. Unless they have proof in the form of an invoice, showing that it was serviced by a reputable shop or Omega, I would budget for a service in the not too distant future.
