Longines Ultra-Chron Chronometer Ref. 8355 - Dial Opinions?

Hi all,

Considering purchasing this Longines Ultra-Chron Chronometer ref. 8355 and would appreciate opinions from those familiar with the reference.

The watch appears correct to me overall, but I am unsure about the originality of the dial. In particular, the "ULTRA-CHRON" printing looks slightly unusual to my eye, especially the shape of the "R" in "ULTRA".

Do the dial, case and caseback appear authentic and consistent with an original 8355? Any concerns regarding a possible redial or other incorrect parts?

Unfortunately I do not yet have movement photos, but I have requested them from the seller.

If you look at the thread, you can see many different fonts for both “Ultra Chron” and “Automatic”.

Here is another example with multiple pictures including movement and bracelet:

Curious to see whether you got the 36K beat cal. 431 movement or the lower beat 6651. Some Ultra-Chron designs used both.

FWIW, the 431 movement is SUPER nice. I was really impressed when I worked on it. The automatic works design is unique, but seeing it fire away at 36k when assembling it is really neat.
