    Hi folks,

I’ve come across a Longines trench watch with cal.13.34 on eBay. I really like its style and think maybe it will be my first vintage Longines, yet I’m still a little bit worried about its authenticity so I’ve decided to come to the forum for help.
I’ve looked up the serial no. and I think it checks. The movement also looks fine to me. The dial looks kinda suspicious. Is it a redial? Please feel free to add your thoughts! Many thanks.
Here are some photos for your reference:

Nice watch. I was tempted, myself. The enamel dial looks correct. I think that the crown is the wrong style, but this is not a big deal. The British hallmarks on the case match with the B&Co marking on the movement. I am a bit puzzled by the repaired lugs on an otherwise clean watch. The pins that hold the lugs appear to have been replaced and do not match. Also, the swiveling part of the lug at 12 o'clock looks slightly bent out of shape. Still, the clean dial and movement, and screw-in back and bezel, make this a neat Longines from circa 100 years ago. Also, the quoted diameter is wrong, the watch is larger.

Congratulations, I think you got yourself a very nice example. I especially like the hinged lugs.
