    Hello all.

So I have been a (rather) infrequent poster on the Omega side of this virtual fence, but looking to up my game (as I peruse and enjoy the Omega Forums often). I also have a few old Longines calatravas I will post shortly, once I capture a few decent scans.

At the risk of saying hello and asking for something, wanted to run this Tre Tacche past the hive mind. I have never owned one before, and wanted to get a sense as to whether or not the group sees any obvious issues. I know the pictures are lousy.....

    Thanks!

    Darren

Looks pretty nice to me. Just picked up a WWII-era Weems with the same hands.

Hi @dmgreen11, I for one very much look forward to seeing your calatravas!
As for this one, its looks are very pleasing, the movement looks fine and the case numbers match as they should -- but I think we'd need a much crisper picture of the dial to ascertain if it's original. The index track looks a bit blurry
    to me right now.

    Best regards,
    S

Just hears back from Longines. They told me it was delivered to Longines-Wittnauer in 1943.

Nice! Thanks for sharing it. Love those watches.
They're what got me into a search, and then led to discover everything else.... (for good or for bad).

It's a bezel lock to lock the bezel in place.
By the way, this is the first turning bezel in the history of horology.

Those strap bars are badly bent.
Maybe you should sell it and look for a better example.
