Thanks for sharing. your video clips come at a very appropriate time.

I've a Spirit Zulu on order right now & awaiting its arrival. It's back ordered so i've been told 4-6 weeks. It's the anthracite dial & green bezel. Everyone wants that version mostly.

Pathetic story of how i came into this watch.

my concern is 42mm diameter for my 7" wrist. I've other 42mm such as the Speedy Moonwatch but this one just seems to be wear bigger in the video clips & pix.

Can you give some commentary on the watch diameter & whether it wears true to size or bigger?
I'm sure it has a wrist presence -- does the watch feel bulky & rattle on the wrist?

I keep on thinking that if Longines had made this 40mm, it would have been knocked not only out-of-the-park but also into outer space.

There is NO reason for this watch to be 42mm -- none!
thanks.

WOW! I am certain the team that designed the watch will be drawn and quartered for their mistake, and Longines will rethink the sizes. Just let them know! 😁

I do agree that the watch is 2mm too big... The diameter would somehow be acceptable if the lugs were not so long. In this combination it is a no-go for me 🙁. Even my 44,25mm Speedy wears smaller, because it is less than 50mm lug-to-lug, opposed to Longines's ~52.
The 40mm spirit looks to be great size, even with long lugs, but I was looking for some mid-level GMT watch, hoped Longines would be the good choice.
It's a pitty, because build quality of these pieces are really amazing!
But hell - this is my personal opinion of a guy with 18cm wrist. I think you must put the watch on yours and judge yourself. I am sure you can opt-out if you don't like it when it comes. This is at least how Longines stores work here in Poland.

This is my favourite
Me too. The bracelet with its male end links makes it wear to wide across the wrist.
