    Hey OF.

Pretty excited to have bidded and on this on an auction.

I have asked a few people for their thoughts and opinions on this piece, wondering if any Longines experts can chime in? (thanks to @Syrte and @aap for their input)

So far what I know is that it is a 1943 piece, step case?, movement wise what should I be expecting?

Movement-wise I'd say a 10.68Z. I like it. And I like the patina on the center part of the dial

Agree. Should be a 10.68z inside or if it's on the larger side, a 12.68z.
Reliable & relatively easy to find parts for the movement.
