Hi all, I am listing for sale a Longines sei tacche that was purchased on the forums last year. I have worn it a total of maybe 5 times since then, so I would like it to go to someone who would enjoy it more often. From the Longines Archives: "The original serial number 8'165'118 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 5696. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 27.M and was invoiced on 24 August 1951 to the company Terrasse, which was at that time our agent for Sweden" The case is around 33.5mm. The dial and hands feature radium lume, which has aged to a nice cream color. There is minimal loss of lume to the minute hand. Small scratches to the crystal, which can likely be polished out. The crown is probably a replacement. Inscription on the caseback, as can be seen in the photos. The movement has not been serviced in my possession. Please note, the watch will be sold head only since my wife has pilfered the strap for her vintage Omega Seamaster. For this watch, I am asking $650, which will include shipping in the USA. International deals are gladly welcome, and will ship at cost to buyer. Transferwise is preferred for international transactions. I have lots of feedback in the Seller Profile section if you search by my username. Thanks OF for the space!
Ha ha, she has also retained the matching lady’s watch from what used to be @ConElPueblo’s lovely set. Good for her, and GLWS as this one is really nice too!
I asked but she had no interest in letting hers go! I don't blame her though, the condition of that one is fantastic!
