路Although they're extremely busy and bulky, I'm fascinated with Longines Retrograde Moonphase pieces (L707.2). There have been a few different references in recent years but no such retrograde is currently in the Longines line. There's one short thread here in the forum and there seems to be very little info online. Seemingly to this novice, such retrograde complications can be "rough" on a watch - potentially causing problems and requiring more frequent maintenance.
I'm just wondering if Longines had quality problems with this retrograde timepiece -or- was it just too darn busy and bulky for the market.?
Comments on the watch and my thoughts welcome. Thanks... JoeD
