Is there someone that has been fortunate to acquire one?

For those of us not familiar with them. I wanted to share info about these watches.
These are recreations of equestrian themed pocket watches from around 1880-1930s. The originals are in the Longines Museum and I believe all of the originals are silver. The recreations are in 18 karat Pink Gold. Possibly the Jockey has also also been remade in steel. Longines only makes 20 in gold.

Limited edition term has been used so frequently it lost its impact, but in this case, Longines has made limited to 20 carry with it a very exclusive qualification: You probably have something to do with a stable of Thoroughbred race horses or $40-50K USD with nothing else to spend it on when you saw one of the watches at a concours. I haven't the foggiest what is the FEI Jumping National Cup or Ascot other than what Google brings up.

So far, I think these are the only ones created to date. I guess 13 were available in the US. And they are beautiful, photos taken inside of a light box don’t do justice.

After spending a week touring French and German regions of Suisse. I travelled to Bern , La Chaux de Fonds, Biel, Neuchatel, Wiggens, Miele, Lauzern, Le Locle, Zurich. I see all Swiss love cows, but horses are really a part of the lives of the well to do. In Zurich, black Mercedes are used as taxi and limousine. The Swiss like horses as well as Zurich diamonds.

My ride must have been an Andretti in another life.

A little going away gift that Walter arranged for me (or was it Jennifer behind the scenes?)
Walter, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Juan spent their morning with me. Towards the end of the planned day, Stephanie was asking me what would be my next watch, I mentioned that I wanted a Longines Lindbergh. Walter got up and said I want to show you somethings, and he proceeded to open up several drawers inside their new watch collections show room. The watches were stunning. He placed a few in my hands, and I of course being socially inept had no idea what was going through Walters head so I was typically on the spectrum and had no facial expressions and not a thought going through my head. I just observed Walter and returned each watch he placed on my hands. It did not occur to me at the time that he was considering giving me a new edition Lindbergh (and these weren't the average models either, all huge and precious.) He then spoke with his rather strong accent after I returned all the various watches of various models back to him, Seiji I give you and Equestrian. Now as naïve as I was, I had no idea what he was saying, I was processing the situation probably a good 3 minutes slower than real-time events. Partly due to the difficulties I was having hearing Walter clearly where I as sitting and the bit of Germanic pronunciation wasn't in my favor either. Walter then had to go into more details about giving me a gift. Okay now I started to understand. He mentioned something about put it into your pocket when you pass through customs (I thought he was joking). Well alright, I will do as he says. I have no idea what is this Equestrian he is talking about.

Sephanie and Juan had to explain later after Walter had given up and already left the room hopefully not annoyed that Walter had in fact been trying to read my absolutely perfect poker face that Longines was giving me a gift.
