Its rectangular, slightly curved shape and Roman numeral dial reminds of classics such as the Cartier Tank, but the Longines does its own thing with its unique facets. The movement inside is the automatic L595, which is Longines' designation for the ETA 2000-1. Whilst its service history is unknown, the movement is working perfectly and keeps accurate time (within a few seconds a day, though I haven't timed it precisely). The watch is in good condition, with minor swirls and superficial scratches on the sides and bezel, but pristine dial and sapphire glass. The dimensions of the watch are as follows: - width 26mm (without crown) - length 32mm not counting lugs (40mm with lugs) - 20mm lug width (strap width) - ca. 8 mm thickness Keep in mind that square / rectangular watches wear larger than their dimensions suggest -- see the wristshots in photos (ca. 18cm wrist circumference). Though it is on the smaller size (comparable to a 34-36mm round watch), it's a perfect piece if you're looking for a casual-to-dress watch that has that vintage Art Deco vibe, but in its own unique way!
