·For sale is a Longines ref 6555 from mid 50's with a rare black bullseye dial, unfortunately the dial has a lot of patina but this piece still have its charm.
The 6555 case is 37mm excluding the crown and rather beefy which makes it a substantional size for its time.
Except small scratches on the case and a deeper scratch on the caseback the case have contained its original shape and probably have not been polished a lot in its lifetime rather than just normal wear.
Caseback and case is stamped with matching numbers.
The crown is unsigned so I'm guessing it have been replaced, crystal have a lot of scratches and a crack at 4 o'clock so it would need to be replaced.
12.68z movement that is running strong and keeping accurate time, but I have no known service history
