·For sale is a nice 40s Longines sei tacche, but not the usual variant. This is the much more uncommon variant that is more similar to the tre tacche, with its flat case sides, stepped bezel and thicker "pressed together" case.
The case is 33,5mm excluding the original crown and takes 18mm straps, it is well preserved with no bigger dents or marks.
Glossy black railroad dial that has its flaws, there are some spots around the center that are more/less visible in different angles. The crystal has cracks and some scratches as well so a new crystal would make the dial better justice. The hands have been relumed some time and they are reacting a bit to light which the dial is not.
12.68z movement that is running strong and keeping good time, but no known service history.
Price: 1000EUR net to me. I’m located in Sweden.
