It has been a while since I purchased a new watch and even longer since I purchased a Longines, but this one caught my eye and won't let go.
The reviews seem fine but the movement has a chronograph module. That's probably not an issue but I keep thinking about the chronograph module on the Speedy Reduced and the issues surrounding it.
Do any of you watchmakers have thoughts you'd like to share?

Any thoughts on the module?

Only second-hand info. From what I understand, like a Speedy Reduced, it is an ETA movement with another manufacturer’s chrono module attached. And that’s all fine. However, apparently watchmakers hate working on them, and some simply won’t. Yes, you can just get the ETA bits serviced and leave the chrono module if it’s running fine. But if the chrono function isn’t in spec, then you are likely looking at Longines for your service needs forever - and that can be more expensive than your neighbourhood watchmaker would cost.

That’s my understanding. I’d love to hear from others with first-hand experience
