It's interesting and great condition and all,
but it's been worn. Lots of people leave the stickers
on the back of watches. The sticker isn't centered.
It gets off center from the sticker shifting from wear.
Lug edges don't look razor sharp either. All the ads of the day
show folded stitched sides on the strap also.

That's exactly what I thought as well. When I mentioned it towards the seller he got kind of angry and throwed a lot of CAPITAL LETTERS at me.

I'm on my phone but the Italy one seems
To be missing the serial stamp on the lug that should match movement. Only a "C"?
Anyone know what that means?

Unfortunately didn’t win this one, but I do know at least one other member was probably watching/bidding. Would have been nice to go do a local pickup here.

This was the 2nd time on the block for this one, and it went for lower than the first time around. Perhaps thy had nonpayment the first time?

Quite a few members asked me about the second watch. I'd be surprised if one of them didn't get it.

No idea. Might be a good question for Longines.

Someone gambled in goodwill, again. Expect movement ok but can’t know.

Italy examlple...Seems fine to me. Inside caseback:— 1/seems to have two case Ref numbers, not one and 2/Missing the Lug number we typically see. Rare-er ?

Not sure I would buy one without the serial end on the lug. It's got the cool crown though.

No serial in caseback either...so seems to match. Ref numbers are what we’ve seen tho

No but I did have it on my watchlist. I did notice though that the number on the lug does not seem to match to the one on the caseback inside...

Correct. You beat me to it on the number thing.

The numbers aren't supposed to match. The serials have to be looked up by Longines.

Every other example I saw has matching numbers. I'm not talking about the serial numbers, I'm talking about the 3 digit case number which in my opinion should be the same on the inner caseback as on the back of the lug.
