For sale is my 1960 Longines Conquest, ref. 9026, powered by a caliber 291 automatic movement. According to Longines this watch was shipped to Mexico in August of 1960. I've been wearing this watch daily for a little over a week. It's running well but gains approximately a minute a day. I recommend getting it serviced if you're going to wear it daily. The lugs are sharp and there is no wear through of the gold cap anywhere. This is a very handsome watch, I especially like the hands and 12 o'clock date window. I'm asking $850 USD + shipping OBO.

Beautiful watch fair price awesome design and fantastic condition. I am staying strong for a 7171 or an LCPR but the pricing is really mad on those.

Thank you Eternalover. Allow me to say that the 7171 is a lovely reference, however, compared to the 9026 it is a bit pedestrian. I mean, a date window at 3 o'clock, how blase. The LCPR on the other hand, now that's a snazzy watch. However, it has too much going on compared to the 9026. The central power reserve indicator is cool, but completely superfluous, it just adds an element of clutter to an otherwise classically timeless design. A design which I might add is strongly expressed in the 9026. Thank you again for the compliment and good luck on your search!

This should really sell! BTW I agree the dial design is a stunner, but I just have this thing for lyre lugs…..

Thanks Eternalover. I really like this particular design quite a bit, but I totally understand lyre lugs; there is something elegant about them.
