Just had some recent enthusiasm to start wearing this again, after taking off its hideous green croco grain strap, I realised it was actually an even more beautiful watch than I thought. The lugs are fixed, so I would appreciate anyone recommending a good strap for this beauty. It's 16mm lug width.
Those fixed lugs are actually for the attachment of a bracelet, this case was not intended to be worn on a strap.
This UK seller has surprisingly high quality open-ended straps for very little money: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ladies-Open...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item2a26bac1fbPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I bought one of these for my Hamilton Piping Rock and it looks great: There are a lot of other options on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0&_nkw=16mm open-end watch band&_sacat=0&_from=R40Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I would resist the temptation to put it on a "Bund" type strap, even though it's a good bet that the watch has seen one of them when it was new in the early 1970's. Just not my thing. Hope this helps, gatorcpa P.S. - That is a cool bracelet!

Having idly followed alphas link, what in the name of all the gods is a lizagator? I have a picture in my head, and its a fifties b movie all by itself...
Nice watch. I wonder what colour combination would work with dial. I've bought from this seller before. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Buffalo-G...973?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aac384205Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network and from this one. http://www.cjbalm.com/watches/watch-oe-c-bn.htm I also know a good value bespoke strap maker, but he's based in the UK.
