The watch has been recently serviced and is ready to wear. The case is in great shape overall. Clean polished and brushed surfaces. Some superficial scuffs on the bezel, seen with difficulty (see photos). Bezel action is great, turns unidirectional (counter clockwise) with good, secure clicks, and zero play. Aligns perfectly. The black enamel on the bezel triangle at 12 has worn off. The crown is authentic Longines and screws in. It is a service replacement and so not original to this particular model, though it is original Longines. The crown screws in, but part of the crown tube remains visible (see photos), due to the crown being a little shorter than the original. This does not impair function. Operation is perfect, everything works as it should. Original sapphire glass is spotless. The dial is in mint condition. Really looks as new. Not a single blemish. Beautiful ceramic white, with applied metal markers. Hands and indices are in equally mint state. Very eye catching dial, lending the watch a touch of luxury. The movement is the L.636.5, based on the ETA 2836-2 with day and date complication, incabloc shock protection and Longines signed rotor. Day wheel can be set in English or Italian.
