Thoughts on this please? I really like the dial, seems in decent shape to me but I'm not as experienced as those on here! Is this a good reference to go for in terms of the Admiral? The asking price is around £400 excluding shipping.

I like Longines so I’m already halfway to liking it.

I have a few Admirals although most of mine are automatics. I find that the dials seem to be, generally, in better condition than other brands of the same age.

The one you’re interested in is classic and, without a date, can be dressed up or down and the movement looks clean, as I’d expect.

That said, it’s 'only' a manual movement (which is simpler and cheaper to service) and is on a strap rather than a bracelet so, if you decide to go for it, I’d offer less and see where you get to.

Don’t forget to factor in any VAT and/or import duty depending upon where you live.

Admiral HF is a nice watch, but £400? For reference I paid 242€ for mine at auction.

Is that the normal price or did you get lucky 😁

I would say that's normal. These are quite affordable watches.
