Hi all,

Up for sale today is a beautiful Longines Admiral from the mid 1960s. As per the inscription on the case back, this was a Christmas gift in 1966. 56 years later, could it be a gift for someone this Christmas?

Some highlights:
- The faceted Arabic numerals lend some extravagance to a design that is otherwise classically retrained. They also reflect light beautifully in a way that needs to be seen in hand
- Silver sunburst dial remains radiant and has aged to a slightly warm champagne tone
- Sharp case with minimal wear as evidenced by the condition of the case back engraving

Condition:
This example is in overall very good condition. The dial is clean, has aged to a slightly warm champagne tone and has slight speckling when seen in certain light. Lume on the dial and hands is original. The stainless steel case presents well with no dings or major scratches. Crown is original and signed. Service history is unknown but it keeps good time on the wrist (I do not time my watches).

Additional Information:
Size: 33.5mm without crown, 39.5mm lug to lug
Year: 1966
Caliber: Automatic, cal 340
Box/papers: No/No
Strap: Leather strap

I鈥檓 asking $595 USD which will also include express shipping within CONUS. Other countries at cost. Zelle, Transferwise or bank wire only. Watch and I are in the US and I can ship worldwide (with some exceptions).

This is a really special watch. I had a slightly later version of this exact watch and sold it to a fellow member here- one of the few watches I have sold that I miss.

Lovely. I own this reference (and it鈥檚 one I鈥檒l never sell). The 33.5mm case may sound small, but it鈥檚 just at home on my wrist as my Speedmaster.
