I’m thinking of buying one of these as a cheaper version of a C Case Constellation.

Does anyone have one? Or experience of one? Or wrist shots?

I don't have any, but don't you have a C-csse constellation already? I might be confused.

Per se, I don't see anything wrong with that model as such.

Other C-shape ones, as you probably know, are the Ultra-chron ones that could also be an alternative.

Just toying with the idea 😀

And yes, I do have a C-case 168.017, and a cal 1250, but as an admitted watch addict, I’m always thinking of extending my collection/habit but, at the same time trying something a little different.

Maybe not the case shape you were thinking of but the dial trumps that.
I've been looking for one of these since @seekingseaquest posted this in the Blue Dials thread over three years ago.

It is ideal and I would definitely think about it but for the fact that I splurged my money on @DanT’s c case Connie last week

Just saw one for sale around here 😀

That looks nice but I have, haven’t we all 😉, a few black/grey dial watches but they always feel a little wrong. I don’t know why I feel like that about them but, having succumbed to temptation, I rarely wear them as often as I wear the pale dialled watches.

I’m sure I’ll succumb again though. What’s this on and at what price?

Well, I bought it!

Either a big mistake or a fabulous watch 😀 😲

Well, it looks very good for US$ 380 plus tax (free postage from Japan) and I’m very pleased with it’s looks. At present I’m giving it a prolonged test drive but hoping that it runs as good as it looks.

I can only guess at the calibre, but it doesn’t seem to have a push in quick date change and needs adjustment in the same way as the 168.017 Connie, to which it’s very similar in size and style although the lugs are a little shorter and the caseback is plain, apart from the serial number and ‘stainless steel'.

Very well done, Sir! Very nice watch.
It looks larger than the C-Connie? What size is it? Though the lug to lug seems similar.

Pretty much the same size (apart from the lugs)
