Flatfoot
·Offered for Sale or Trade is this 30CH flyback chronograph in nice condition. I have worn this watch in rotation since its purchase here at OF just over 2 years ago. However a purchase of another example in my preferred rose gold case configuration has unfortunately made this example a harder for me to justify keeping. It is time to move it on to another to enjoy.
The watch comes alive in daylight:
The 18k yellow gold case and caseback are both in nice condition with a few scuffs and swirls as shown. Lugs are well defined. Crown is a replacement. A lightly padded strap is included, with light wear as shown.
The dial has a blue tachymeter scale on the outer portion of the dial, positioned outboard of the minute track. Consequently the hour and minute hands and indices are all slightly longer with this particular dial reference, with the effect of making the dial appear a bit more open and wear a bit larger than its 36.5mm case size might otherwise suggest.
The original dial is in nice condition. It does show some spotting which I have captured in the soft lighting of these photos. However I have found them not to be particularly noticeable when wearing it. All hands appear correct and are in good condition. I find the watch to be a nice, honest example.
I purchased this watch here at OF approximately 2 years ago as seen here.

My understanding is that the watch was last serviced in 2015 by the prior owner. He also confirmed through the Longines heritage department (in the sales thread above) that the watch was delivered to the Swiss market in June of 1964. All functions continue to work correctly- the timekeeping, fly-back, start, stop and reset are all in good order.
The 30CH movement is one of the more elegant looking movements to look at and this example is in nice, clean condition.
This watch was my first 30CH, and I have found it very pleasant to wear. I believe the next owner would find it to be the same. Both the watch and myself are located in the Northeastern USA. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Price is $2950 USD, (down from $3750) inclusive of Insured delivery here in the USA. Overseas shipping for established OF members can be arranged as mutually agreed with cost sharing. Payment requested by Paypal F&F for established OF members, or other methods as we may mutually agree.
Trades: I am primarily interested in a Longines Conquest with a rose gold case and faceted dial, preferably in a no-date configuration, either as a trade on this 30CH, or as an outright purchase.
I'm open to other interesting vintage Longines trades, so please feel free to make a suggestion via PM.
