    hi

Had a chance to go to the bank ..

Sad thing did not notice the bezel on my 2998-6 does not have a don bezel ..... I must have gotten this watch like 10 years ago ... On well

It is what it is 18 million s/n

Also came across my ck 2907

    image.jpeg image.jpeg

Here is First generation 27CHROC12 water resistance screwback in steel ! I forget the ref sorry ...

    Also came across me 2915-2 ( I think or maybe 3 )
Bezel is a replacement from the first 2915 "replica" from omega also the hour and min hands are new. I have original hands in a box somewhere at the time I thought having hands. That glowed was the way to go ! ( go figure) I also remebering omega to confirm movement s/n say is was from 58 but the page where detail was written was damaged can could not confirm case ref . ( mid ninety go figure ) .

I even ordered the same strap the omega made for the 1957 Replica , brown saddle leather mans got the folding clasp .

Oh and a pic of one of the watches that started it all for me in collecting ( my parents bought to this one for my brother in 66 ) . He later gave it to me !

    image.jpeg
Heck I have not worn any of the above watches in the better part of a decade !

I did take the 600 m home for wearing for a few days !

    Good hunting

Very Nice Bill! Perhaps one day, I too will have a watch collection that allows me to leave the 2998s languishing in a safe for years. . . No jealousy here . If you care to share, I'm happy to lend a wrist;)

Watches are for wearing. Get them out of the safe and on your wrist where they belong.

Quite a nice assortment of currently highly desirable Omegas to see no wrist time in a decade! Would love to see more pictures of what you've squirreled away over the years! (I can only imagine!)

Wonderful pieces. Perhaps consider a bezel swap between the 2998 and the 105.012?

You know that I'm not a big Speedmaster fan, but those are beautiful.

They look like they need an "airing out"

    Enjoy,

SWEET!!! I collect vintage dive watches. Only Omega in that collection is SM300 165.024. Good to hear from you today!

You may be too humble to accept this, but I suggest a "Bill Sohne-interesting Omegas" thread be started and posted under stickys. After all, I bet you've been at this with Omegas as long as anyone here!

You have too many of these. Maybe selling the Ed White to me won't be such a "bad idea".
