Outside of the world of sitting on the internet looking at/buying/talking about watches, I'm a full time event marketing manager (Europe) for the worlds largest social network for IT people... so basically I throw the parties, travel to the not so exotic locations (Darmstadt anyone?), try to get IT people to hang out together at conferences, and user groups, and round up tech marketers to learn about what we do, and ultimately buy our products. Now I may know a lot less about watches than the vast majority of people here, but I'm pretty good at organising events - with that thought in mind... would anyone be up for a meet up in London? There could be beer, there could be watch conversation, there could be putting names to faces - given enough time, there could be special guests... I'm sure someone in PR at SWATCH could be persuaded to get someone technical to show us cool stuff. Before I put any effort in here, would people be interested?
For the record, no one need dress up as the Cookie Monster, or a lizard/dinosaur... that is not compulsory.
I'm live just North of London work in Hampstead would be up for a beer wine food and watches OmegaSean
So from the above: @Garv, @jonsedar, @Mothra, @SpikiSpikester, @OmegaSean, possibly @stefan . Any more for any more?
