Those C&B straps look fabulous. Perhaps you need 2! On your original options the grey edge looks classy but the stripe would be much more of a sports option. Changing the strap gives such a different look to a watch

I second this ! I'm a big fan of the C&B Chevrons !

The design is based on the weaved straps that come with the Tudor Blackbays (and is pretty much identical). Hardware is top quality.

And if you have to have a NATO, their Supreme Nato line uses a top quality material (pretty close to Omega's, of which I have a couple too) and top shelf hardware. They can also be ordered as "single pass".

I can assure you, these are NOT your typical cheap straps !

BTW, no affiliation, just a very satisfied customer.

That first pic of your 300 with the black strap and single stripe looks awesome....proper wow factor.

See it just looks so much classier with the bracelet - i am biased however as I have black 2011 model on a bracelet...

But the bracelet is still absolutely perfect, I suppose it needs it's first scratch then I'll wear it more often!

So not really a NATO? Just a strap?
The watch is tall enough on the wrist without a one piece NATO. So a two piece NATO is my advice. 😉

Sorry, no, I can't live with non Omega brand. It doesn't make sense to me to have original rubber and original ss in the drawer and wear the watch on a cheap strap, I would always feel that I'd wished I'd worn it on one of the originals I had sat at home. I do have slight ocd!
Good quality natos are not expensive. I have several Crown and Buckle natos and the quality is great. The difference is that your not paying a really quite ridiculous surcharge for the Omega name.

The problem I find with the Omega Nato's is the length of the second under strap is too long. This has some strange side effects like putting the buckle directly centred underneath the wrists, which makes the overall strap too short for tucking back what little is left of the excess strap on my 7"inch (18cm) wrists. For small wrists this may be ok. I do not have this problem with the shorter G10 spec Phoenix Nato's or PhenomeNato's. Another thing people complain about with the Omega Nato's is one of the loops is exposed and pressed against your skin which some people complain it can dig in and feel uncomfortable. You can see this in the photo below.

The PhenomeNato's which are built just like the Omega ones in material and dimensions, are slightly longer in length if your choose the (regular version) from them. For larger wrist people, this gives you some more material to help tuck back in. They will also make them to custom sizes if you contact them and ask. I had them do a batch up for me with the second understrap slighter shorter but the overall length kept long (see photo below) and the buckle hole placements slightly shifted over. This is my go to everyday strap now.

In the photo below: From top to bottom:
Omega Nato (top)
PhenomeNato (regular size version) (second from top)
PhenomeNato (custom made size) (third from top)
Phoenix Nato (bottom)
