After two weeks wait... I finally picked this up from USPS today. I was sold on the provenance of this watch.... Produced in very small numbers in the early 1970’s and this one still has the zappon coating on the back... The movement was made under licence by Bulova, the chronograph version then adapted with basically and extra 'layer' for the chronograph operation. The movement in this watch was known as the Mosaba meaning 'montre sans balancier' translates for 'watch with no balance' Fits my hand perfect...Well needless to say i am impressed. Now if i can find a vendor to make a leather band for this i will be a happy camper.... Or can some body point me where i can find metal lobster bracelet.
Ah.....nothing feels like a NOS. I love the hum sound...... just make sure you change the battery on time.
Just so you know, the leather you currently have on there is very hard to find these days. Take care of it!
Well that's one of the reason i want to find a replacement strap just in case. I wonder why no third party guys make replacement straps for these.
