    Never occurred to me till just now that it must be rather difficult to repair a hole in the space station. The space station has positive pressure versus the vacuum of space.

    Like @Foo2rama said earlier they are opening up the insulation to get an exterior piece of the epoxy and inspect the hole from the exterior not to fix the hole. The hole that was discovered was repaired at the end of August with a piece of fiberglass and epoxy.
