@Zapatta if you want any interesting watches to be left in your store you had better remove that link. I鈥檓 serious.
I suspect @Rudi99 was probably joking, and of course he himself has carefully avoided to post a link to a local shop in Brazil where he bought at least one nice watch.

Thanks Syrte, I was actually not expeting him to reveal the website, and would never ask him to. Just the name of the city or town would be cool to know, maybe for a watch hunt one day, if I get to visit the country on holidays or something. Maybe I could even get to have a coffee with him and talk watches, who knows 馃榾

But it is true, I did try to conceal the website where I found the watch in Brazil but would have no trouble telling people, for instance, that in a particular corner of Prague there are many antique shops with some great Omega and Zenith watches at very reasonable prices for example. The area around the synagogues mostly.

There is one particular shop where one can even find collectibles like old advertising and posters from Rolex, Omega, Longines, etc. Definetely worth the visit!

Yes, it is a pitty. Your Covid approach has to change first. As long as your freedom is the freedom of not wearing a mask and not the freedom to consider the risk that poses for your fellow humans, it will stay closed for the USA. Change the mind of your politicians and all will be good. Stay safe. Kind regards. Achim

Achim, I am curious to know where you live. Your insistence on bringing American politics into watch discussions seems odd to me, as your writing style suggests that you are located outside the US.

Edit: I typed too slowly. Answered in another post.

I fail to see the relevance of this comment.

No less relevant than Achim鈥檚 persistent anti-administration commentary.

As I'm becoming more of a senior member AND American (or as we say in Texas: 'merican), I have a MUCH bigger question.

Howdy, sir (Do people actually say that? I was briefly in the US on two occasions but never in Texas).

Well, it was a very warm summer day in Prague and if you live in Berlin, you don't get to use much of your shorts for a good 8 months time in the year!

Does any else find it a bit fishy that the guy won't allow pics and one of his display watches is a fake?
