I believe there must be some AP lovers on this forum? I've been searching around and asking myself if there is a "Moonwatch Only"-like about the Royal Oak from AP?

Stumbled across a big book written by the Museum manager at AP but haven't had the chance to take a look inside, yet.

I would like to learn a bit about the Royal Oak, what book would you recommend?

I'm guessing you got The Ambassadeurs magazine recently?

 

Check out Mstanga.one on instagram - he has written a guide on the 5402 if you are interested in that model. It used to be free online, but now he publishes it as a book, you can email him to purchase ( I have no affiliation, I just like the book and the watch!)

Not really, there's an article talking about how stainless steel became mainstream and they say it was thanks to Gerald Genta and of course the Royal Oak was his canvas.
