·Today I have for sale this very attractive and seldom seen LIP Electronic diver from the early 1970's.
The very high gloss dial is stunning is actually an extremely dark green colour although it comes over as more a black in the pictures. Date window with white surround. Raised steel indices with red stripes, baton steel and red hands, large tritium panels and a white minutes chapter ring complete the look.
The bi-directional rotating bezel with blue insert is perfect, super sharp and rotating with a reassuring click.
The 39mm steel case is in beautiful shape with the chamfers, brushing and other finishing looking good. Original crown. The screw down case back is clean and was originally good for 20ATM. The ref is actually a 429845 and was produced I believe 1972-1975.
The cal R184 electronic-mechanical movement has had a new battery and is winding, setting and running well. However it is running about a minute fast per day and will need some adjustment. This I have taken into account with my low pricing.
Coming fitted to a perfectly matching 18mm blue Tropic strap in excellent condition.
