Light inside Safe

Being a watch forum, I am sure many members have safes. I would like to put some wireless lighting system, or at least one tiny light inside the safe (which can stick to the surface). Tried unsuccessfully with a bicycle light to attach it to the wall safe.

Anybody have unique ideas or have done some similar to add artificial light inside their safe?

I use a motion activated magnetic one that attaches itself to anywhere in the safe. Safe dealers probably sell them or most hardware places.

I have several battery powered LED motion-triggered lights around the house and in the garage. (Probably from Target or Home Depot).

Look for the type that affix with removable 3M Command strips. The light take standard AA batteries and seem to last ages. Has worked like a charm around the house and could see it working great in a safe.

Looks like someone has just cleaned out your watch collection.

The safe is a distraction, all watches are stored in a shoebox next to the front door.

You could try taking your watches out! A nice problem to have for which I am sure you will find a solution. Good luck!

I have some 3.5" diameter, 3/4" thick LED lights that I use for spotlighting some watches on my shelves that I bought from Costco a few years ago, but also found them on eBay. They can be remote controlled with included controller, or just pushed to turn each one on/off. They would throw off plenty of light in a safe and would be a cheap way to go. Don't think you would really need a motion activated setup.

Depends how cheap and cheerful you want to go. These are a couple of simple battery motion sensor lights which serve me well (both have magnetic back plates which stick on / easy to change batteries)

I put a high tech indestructible material on my main watch safe so it lets the light in. It’s quite easy to see no one is getting into this. The lock is pick proof.

Camping store have them for a few dollars. Not motion activated but usually just push on the light to turn on and off.

I just bought a few lights with sticky backing that look like a light switch from harbor freight. They are cheap and work very well.
