Let's face it. Speedmaster = best watch of all time.

^Thanks for the story @Longbow . What a lovely recount behind a small but significant watch.

I have came across many Camys before. Perhaps a little irrelevant but I have always group it together with other mid-range but reliable brands like Cyma and Cortebert.

I agree with the OP. In my humble opinion.

The best Speedmaster ever made is the Gemini4. This is just a fact. 馃榾

Most of my Speedmasters.

Are you going back to just posting pictures of this watch AGAIN?

Come on man, make an argument that at least attempts to defend, or establish your point of view as valid. ::facepalm1::

Unless this is you admitting defeat.

Shall I go and start a thread entitled "The Chuck Maddox 'Grail' is the dullest, most overrated model ever produced by Omega" as balance to this thread?

You want a debate, fantastic, let's have a debate - make your case for the hyperbolic statement that you've posted.

If you don't want a debate, then you're just trolling... and that's dull... much like your Speedmaster.

I'm completely obsessed, man. Can't you tell? Can you really blame me? 馃榾

This is still an incredibly silly thread you've created. One could make an argument for an almost limitless amount of watches being the "best watch of all time". But you have to make an argument, you can't just say "Let's face it, the Speedy is CLEARLY the best, am I right guys?"

Actually, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms is the best watch of all time because it was the first dive watch and Jacques Cousteau wore one.

Actually, the Patek Philippe 1518 in steel is the best watch of all time because it's the first perpetual calendar chronograph in stainless steel.

Actually, the Rolex Submariner is the best watch of all time because James Bond wore one, and it's design has been used as a basis for nearly all other dive watches since 1953, and has been in continuous production since then.

Frankly it's a useless endeavor, as you can see.

Obsession isn't a healthy trait sir. Be careful that you don't turn into Gollum. Maybe you should chuck it into the horological fires of Mordor to save your soul.

Not exactly the one Cousteau wore, but I do indeed miss mine. Sold it in Jan 2016. As a matter of fact, I actually emailed the buyer last week and asked if I could buy it back. It was a no go. 馃檨

I've never loved a watch as much as my Speedy and I have serious trouble imagining a watch I'd rather wear on a daily basis but...

The theoretical best watch of all time will have drilled lugs, so no, the Speedy is not the greatest watch of all time 馃槈

I recommend this as a remedy to your loneliness:

It's a shame about the date window, but I'm pretty certain I could overlook it, if given the chance.

Such a beautiful watch and then put a date window at 4:30. Why? why? why?

Come back Dennis, all is forgiven.

I think a minty redialled Speedmaster Calatrava might lure him back.
