Hi folks. I’m quite drawn to white and green gold pocket watches, and am lucky enough to have picked up a few. I’d love to see what you have in your collections. I’d particularly enjoy any recommendations for railroad approved pocket watches that were offered in white or green gold.

From my collection:

21j Regina (Omega’s Canadian brand)

1926 Elgin cal 315 (edit, just remembered it’s not gold, maybe rhodium-plated German silver. But, I still like it)

1929 Illinois Bunn Special Type IIIB

I think that both the Bunn Special and the 992E were railroad approved, but not 100% sure

The only white gold pocket watch that I have. This one is 14-karat white gold, and comes to me through my wife’s family. The style is call an “opera” watch by one of the U S watchmakers, (forgotten which one). It is from the late 1920s, and uses a 6/0 size, 15-jewel Elgin wrist watch movement in a case about equivalent to a 12-size, but much slimmer. This one is fitted on the back with a family initial set with 0.50 carat of diamonds.

My only white gold pocket watch, this little 12 size Elgin. It's a 17 jewel model 4, grade 495, that was made in 1933.
