This is a bracelet from a mid 50's Eterna-Matic KonTiki. It is a link or two too short for my fat wrist. I been looking on and off for a while, but I've not seen any of these links offered for sale.

What options do I have to lengthen the bracelet?

    thanks

The watch. I want to see the watch. I have been aching for a vintage Kontiki on original bracelet for a long time.

Perhaps a longer clasp cover if you can find one.

I had that problem a few months ago. I solved it as you see in the picture. But I understand that some watch material suppliers carry extenders that work just like mine does. This was not a neat job, but it will serve the purpose until,I find a better solution.

That's actually a pretty decent looking link you made and definitely serves the purpose.

The bracelet on my 666 was a link too short and the clasp extender wouldn’t work because the placement of the last hole was just too far in. Luckily I had a JB Champion bracelet with a very long clasp cover (bracelet was also made by JBC) which did the trick. If the link extender doesn’t work- as suggested above, try a longer clasp cover.

All I have for now is watch sans bracelet.

This was the second vintage watch I purchased. At the time I had no concept of "over polishing." I'm not quite sure what to think about the dial. It has the effect of a metal flake automotive paint job, but it's definitely aging. The stripe that runs from the 12 to the 7 moves relative to the angle to the sun. Truth be told, I bought it because I fell in love the deck chairs.

I'm really wanting one of these now. Eterna was super popular in Israel back in the day so rather than me paying current values for one of these Kontiki jobbies from one of you shysters in the sales section I am gonna start pestering my friends and distant family members there to find me one at some kibbutz tag sale or something :D
