At least Tissot did also use it in some of their watches as the caliber Tissot 23.3R-21.

Did someone call for a Tissot 23.3R-21 in a Lemania-only thread?
I feel compelled to oblige!

I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread...馃榾

And about half way on the second page the thread usually goes...
It is tradition. A nice one.

Stunning-- always loved the second one . What's the name of the first model on topl? (I think some were called GMT and some "world timer"....

@marturx, Martin, your avatar picture also needs to come out of quarantine, that tropical dial on your Tg195 also belongs in this thread!! (and by the way, what's the name of the watch you're trying to get? I think I've seen it before).

If one add up the "in house" Lemania watches with all vintage Omega and Tissot chronographs from 1930 and onwards, then throw in the Omega cal 381 Cosmic and cal 920 Memomatic on top, sprinkle it with some Heuer, Meylan, Breitling, Ebel and other obscurities we may ask the question:
How many of the collectors on this forum, owning more than a dozen or so vintage watches, does not actually own minimum one that has a Lemania sourced movement?

I purposely avoided some of the more exotic names that based their chronographs on the Lemania 23xx.

Creating a thread for people to post their Non-Lemania branded but Lemania based watches might be an idea.

@marturx(and by the way, what's the name of the watch you're trying to get? I think I've seen it before).

marturx probably know a lot more than me about that watch but I believe there has been some controversy about its origin. As there are no other known watches like it some people here in Sweden has deemed it franken. There is a story behind how it might have come to be (not franken - but real) and I guess it all comes down to probability. When it first showed up I believe it was in a context that would make it unlikely to have been faked. But as I wrote - marturx probably know the story - and if he wants the watch I do believe it is bona fide.
