As you earlier wrote ”late 50's early 60's” is enough for me.

Serial 1 118 001 is confirmed by Lemania in their Fornitures catalog as 1958.
1957-1958 should be fairly accurate!

Lovely watch!

I got my Lemania some minutes ago. I really like/love it. Fantastic good looking watch. I hope we don’t need a watch makers help in the next weeks. A service later on is my plan.

And the photo
@Truva1
That one is good to go. I have the same one, so I can tell the dial is original. In fact, having already a similar one is the only reason I'm not bidding myself.
Grabbing it under 5000 SEK is a bargain IMHO.

Not the best picture but currently the only one laying around: https://www.instagram.com/p/CDgUlIXB2AJ/

And a tad more info on the Single Crown Super Compressor: https://blommanwatchreport.com/2019/05/05/lemania-single-crown-super-compressor-case/

This is my current weekly batch of Lemania's to wear (a 3xxx manual wind, a 36xx automatic, and 3 Super Compressors)
For me, the Lemania Cal 3xxx is the perfect daily beater and my entire collection is built around them...
PS Yes, all on MN straps (https://erikasoriginals.com/)

(picture quality is not the best, it's too late for good lightning...)

I am soooo happy with my Lemania 907. It goes perfect. No urgent need for a service. It is also very nice to look at. The hands and indexes are red gold (I guess) and the red/brown struts strap matches them perfectly.
After what you have written about super compressors I’ll try to get the watch in Tradera.

We're all jealous of another person's collection, and that counts for me as well.
Buying awesome watches is all about timing, patience, luck, and money.
But if the budget is limited, good timing, patience, and a bit of luck can already take you a long way 😀

Hi Northernman,
I have a question which I think you can answer.
A watch with serial number 1 118 001 is from 1957-58 as mentioned above. There is a watch in chrono24 with serial nr 1 013 029 but the reference on the back is 920-63, i e from year 1963. I wonder if something is wrong. Could the case back have been changed sometime? I would appreciate yours or some other persons input in this matter. Thanks

Let me try and answer your question by saying the following.
Case date as say you is 63 - meaning case was made in 63
Movement dated +-2-5 years - as we only have approximated data based on case back engravings like 'To Dad love family 640101'
or military assigned watches in a similar manner.
Movements could be in a bin of thousands for a prolonged period of time before being assembles to fill an order.

Hope this helps

I think the hour hand with a piece of missing lume gives a touch to the watch.

Incredible. What a fantastic watch.
I think the hour hand with a piece of missing lume gives a touch to the watch.
Thank you, it is something special and I did not manage to find any other example online.

It have some flaws with one being the missing lume on the hour hand and a bit on the minute hand as well. But the cool indices makes up for it, and always love those glossy black gilt dials!

I didn’t mean any negativ with the hands. I really like it with a little bit missing lumes. It gives the watch the touch that we have here a vintage watch in a perfect shape. Congratulations.

I don't have many left from the "Glory Days", when the pictures below were taken...

From this bygone era, only one of these 4 chronographs remains with me:

On the other hand, I still have my lovely calibre 3000 watch :

And I have this calibre 3615 incoming:

Oh, and I still have a Royal Navy issued stopwatch as well...
