You bought it a week ago????
Seller page says 14 day return policy.

So many problems here.....
I have a small hunch that dropping it on the floor isn't what broke it,
and you may NOT want to invite the seller to read that you did so.

Having a hunch is no reason to be dishonest. In fact there's no justifiable reason to be dishonest. It's just really really unlucky that the OP dropped it as it gives a bad seller a get-out-of-jail-free card. I think the best you can try and do is get a partial refund given that it's a much less desirable movement than a 5100, not least because they're a pain in the ass to work on.

Paul Picot used many different movements. Lemania 5100 is confirmed by the seller in the latest exchange, which is clearly wrong. Get it to a watchmaker asap and have it back running . Then complain to Chrono 24 for deception. The seller is 100% wrong and if he wants to sell with chrono24 in the future, he will refund you. Get it running and exchange it. Next time you ask before you buy. Kind regards. Achim

My suspicion (probably not correct in this case) was that there may have been something significantly wrong with the watch before it was dropped. Unfortunately, now that it's happened it's unlikely we'll ever know for sure.
The buyer noted serious problems (unrelated to the movement's identity) upon receipt. It's unclear if they were ever resolved, or how they were resolved.

I'm not advocating dishonesty here: just trying to puzzle out what happened re:
when I received the watch the crown wouldn't wind the watch or set the time but date function worked.
Possibly the buyer is at fault. Possibly the seller. Possibly some of each. Was the watch only partly working when it was dropped? If so might the buyer not be fully responsible for the failure?

Re: movement
The seller might be ignorant, or confused, or mistaken, or might be dishonest.
Or something else. I'm wary of the whole deal.

The first time I contacted him about the crown before dropping it, it was sent out in "working" order so he said the warranty went out the window there id have to pay for parts to fix it. An now he's trying to say I scammed him cause I did forget to mention it fell from no more than a foot off my bed so there you have it.

Probably shouldn't have cause he's claiming I'm scamming him it's bull crap. It was sent out in "working" order so it's all to shit the day it left. The crown was shit when the watch arrived it wouldn't do anything besides change the date. Then I dropped it which was my fault but still if it where a Omega or Rolex it'd still work.

The watch dropping 1 foot to the floor aside, warranties are supposed to cover things that stop working after they leave the seller's possession. This watch was non-functional when you received it. It's not supposed to matter that it was allegedly working when shipped. No way the seller can prove that. What is supposed to matter is that it was clearly NOT working within the warranted period after arrival.

Seller is clearly not going to cooperate at this point, so you might have little to no recourse. Hope you can salvage something from it. I'm not convinced they were intentionally scamming you by sending an incorrect AND broken watch, but it does seem like a strong, regrettable possibility. Sorry, man.

Yeah he's made it clear id have to pay for parts and labor so today I finally found a watch repair place in another city close to me that is willing to receive it. 7/10 days it should be working again. Thank you an everyone else for giving a shit to discuss this. Cheers everyone.
