We need to find you the correct sweep second hand on the SAAF .......i see them from time to time and will pick one up for you when i next do......

My Lemania 5012 chronograph is one of only two chronographs in my collection who survived the "Great Cull" ten years ago when a period of hardship forced me to sell most of my watches. Practically identical to the Sinn 140 B, also powered by a Lemania 5012, worn in space by Reinhard Furrer in 1985.

These watches were ONLY issued to the SAAF and RAN, not the RAF.........possibly he was referring to something else......another Lemania perhaps.....

No News . Thinking about the UK spare parts for them resulted in writing RAF.... I Should read before posting ....
